Arty Guava (Lay Hoon Ho) is a Malaysian-born, Vancouver-based artist known for her vibrant, nature-inspired works that radiate warmth, joy, and connection. Influenced by her multicultural roots — Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Indigenous — she creates a harmonious world where colour, movement, and emotion intertwine. Her art celebrates womanhood, sisterhood, and the dance between humanity and nature, inviting viewers to rediscover freedom and aliveness. A former graphic designer, she began illustrating during the pandemic as an act of calm and self-expression, which soon evolved into a full-time career. Today, her work appears in exhibitions, collaborations, and public spaces across Canada and beyond — art that feels like a warm hug to the soul.
