Amanda Lanzone

Amanda Lanzone is an award-winning illustrator, designer, and educator from Queens, New York. Her passion for drawing started at a young age, spending hours creating art for fun in addition to formal art classes. Growing up in the vibrant cultural landscape of NYC, Amanda was constantly inspired by the city’s energy, distinct culture (and subcultures) which deeply influenced her creative journey.

She continued her education at the School of Visual Arts, where she earned a BFA in Illustration. Amanda’s bold and playful art style is instantly recognizable and has allowed her to work across a wide range of disciplines, including editorial, fashion, merchandising, beauty, music, books, greeting cards, and textiles.

Her work is known for its unique perspective and clever conceptual angles, which have drawn the attention of major brands such as Facebook, Universal Music Group, Converse, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Procter & Gamble, VICE Media, Papyrus Greeting Cards, Penguin Random House, and Time Inc., among others.

In addition to her work, Amanda is a professor at her alma mater, where she teaches illustration courses and mentors the future generation of artists. Her fondness for learning and education allows her to share her expertise and inspire students to pursue their creative ambitions.

Beyond her work, Amanda’s interests/hobbies include arts and crafts, metal music, and spending time at the beach. She is also fascinated by seals and enjoys giving herself manicures.
